| Lawrence Indian United Methodist ChurchClient: Lawrence Indian United Methodist Church Location: 950 E 21st Street, Lawrence, KS Use: Worship, Fellowship, Christian Education Size: 1,900 s.f. existing, 912 s.f. new Completion: 2009 The goals of this project are to provide additional fellowship space for a small active congregation and to update the building’s appearance, while simplifying maintenance requirements. These are achieved with an addition on the east side of the building (containing a Fellowship Hall, Kitchen, Storage Room, and Bathroom), new steeper pitched roof trusses (eliminating low sloped roofing), new exterior stucco, new windows, and a new entrance canopy. Volunteer efforts have helped bring the project close to completion. |
