This interior updating for a long-time downtown Lawrence store combines historic preservation with modern retail trends. Patching and painting of newly exposed beaded-board ceiling and stucco-on-stone sidewalls combines with new slat-wall to take full advantage of the space’s verticality, maximizing the retail display potential.
