Completion: 2009 As Architectural Consultant to DGM Consultants, Hernly Associates is an integral part of the design team in an ongoing effort to preserve the historic Douglas County Court House. Our role in preparing the Construction Drawings for the Phase 1 Masonry Restoration Project includes documentation of existing conditions, delineation of masonry repairs, design of new west stair handrails and stair configuration for ADA compliance, and attic access upgrades. Phase 2 work includes window restoration and documentation of Phase 1 as-built work. We have also assisted with documentation and applications for State of Kansas Preservation Tax Credits. |
